  3. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.

Afskölun

Depending on water hardness, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up over time. Descale your percolator every 1-3 months using a commercial descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Follow the descaling product's instructions or run the vinegar solution through a brewing cycle, then rinse thoroughly by brewing several cycles with plain water.

Umhirða síu

Regularly inspect the filter basket and gasket for wear or damage. Replace these components if they show signs of deterioration to ensure optimal brewing performance and prevent leaks. Compatible replacement filters are available for models 11008, 11009, 11059, 11078, 11079, 11093, 11094, 11095, 11105, 11106, and 11107.

5. Bilanagreining

  • No Coffee Brewed: Ensure the water reservoir is filled, the percolator is correctly assembled and sealed, and the heating element is functioning. Check for blockages in the filter or spout.
  • Veikt kaffi: Use a finer grind of coffee or increase the amount of coffee grounds. Ensure the water-to-coffee ratio is appropriate.
  • Coffee Leaks: Check that the upper and lower chambers are tightly screwed together. Inspect the gasket for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the percolator is placed correctly on the machine's heating base.
  • Slow Brewing: Descale the percolator if mineral buildup is present. Ensure the coffee grind is not too fine, which can restrict water flow.
  • Coffee Tastes Burnt: Remove the percolator from the heat source immediately after brewing is complete. Do not allow coffee to sit on a hot plate for extended periods.
