Mikilvægar öryggisleiðbeiningar
Fylgið alltaf grunnöryggisráðstöfunum til að draga úr hættu á eldsvoða, raflosti og meiðslum á fólki þegar þetta rafmagnsverkfæri er notað.
- Lestu allar leiðbeiningar: Familiarize yourself with the controls and proper use of the jig saw.
- Notaðu augnhlífar: Notið alltaf öryggisgleraugu eða andlitshlíf.
- Notið heyrnarhlífar: Langvarandi útsetning fyrir hávaða getur valdið heyrnarskaða.
- Haltu vinnusvæðinu hreinu: Ringulreið svæði kalla á slys.
- Ekki starfa í damp or wet locations: Avoid exposure to rain.
- Haltu börnum í burtu: Ekki láta gesti hafa samband við verkfærið eða framlengingarsnúruna.
- Öruggt vinnustykki: Alltaf klamp eða festa vinnustykkið á annan hátt til að koma í veg fyrir hreyfingu við skurð.
- Aftengdu rafmagn: Aftengdu alltaf verkfærið frá aflgjafanum áður en stillingar eru gerðar, aukahlutir eru skipt út eða viðhald er framkvæmt.
- Haltu verkfærum með varúð: Haltu verkfærum skörpum og hreinum fyrir bestu og öruggustu frammistöðu.
Uppsetning og samsetning
Að pakka niður
Fjarlægið alla íhluti varlega úr umbúðunum. Athugið hvort einhverjar skemmdir hafi orðið við flutning. Geymið umbúðirnar til síðari flutnings eða geymslu.
Mounting the Jig Saw
The Atlas 24-inch Jig Saw should be securely mounted to a sturdy workbench. Use appropriate bolts and washers through the mounting holes provided in the base of the machine. Ensure the workbench is stable and level.
Uppsetning blaða
- Ensure the power cord is disconnected.
- Loosen the blade tension knob.
- Insert the blade into the lower blade holder, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Guide the blade through the table insert and into the upper blade holder.
- Tighten the upper blade holder screw.
- Adjust the blade tension until the blade is taut but not overly stressed. A slight deflection when pressed gently is ideal.
Stilling borðhalla
The saw table can be tilted for bevel cuts. Loosen the table locking knob, adjust the table to the desired angle using the angle scale, and then securely tighten the knob.
Notkunarleiðbeiningar
Áður en byrjað er
- Gakktu úr skugga um að blaðið sé rétt sett upp og spennt.
- Gakktu úr skugga um að vinnustykkið sé laust við neglur, skrúfur eða aðra aðskotahluti.
- Adjust the hold-down foot to lightly rest on the workpiece.
- Connect the saw to a grounded power outlet.
Að gera klippingu
- Place the workpiece firmly against the table.
- Turn on the jig saw using the power switch.
- Allow the saw to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
- Feed the workpiece slowly and steadily into the blade. Do not force the cut.
- Maintain a firm grip on the workpiece, keeping hands clear of the blade path.
- Upon completion of the cut, turn off the saw and wait for the blade to stop completely before removing the workpiece.
Internal Cuts
For internal cuts, drill a pilot hole in the workpiece large enough to insert the blade. Disconnect power, remove the blade, thread it through the pilot hole, and re-install it before proceeding with the cut.
Viðhald
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Atlas Jig Saw. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
- Þrif: Keep the saw clean and free of dust and debris. Use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air.
- Skipt um blað: Replace dull or damaged blades promptly. Refer to the "Blade Installation" section for proper procedure.
- Smurning: Periodically apply a light machine oil to moving parts as indicated in the parts diagram (refer to original manual for specific points).
- Skoðun: Regularly inspect the power cord for damage, and check all fasteners for tightness.
