3. Uppsetning

3.1 Upptaka og skoðun

Carefully unpack the UPS and inspect it for any damage that may have occurred during transit. If any damage is found, do not operate the unit and contact your vendor.

3.2 Staðsetning

  • Setjið UPS-tækið á vel loftræstum stað, fjarri beinu sólarljósi, hitagjöfum og miklu ryki eða raka.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the ventilation grilles for proper airflow.
  • The ambient humidity should be between 0% and 90% RH (non-condensing) and temperature between 0°C and 40°C.

3.3 Tenging UPS-kerfisins

  1. Inntaksrafmagnstenging: Connect the UPS to a standard wall outlet using the provided power cord. The UPS features Automatic Bivolt input (110V - 220V), automatically adapting to the input voltage.
  2. Output Voltage Val: Before connecting any devices, locate the Bivolt Keyed switch on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2). Set this switch to either 110V or 220V according to the voltage requirements of the devices you intend to connect to the UPS output. Incorrect selection can damage your equipment.
  3. Tengibúnaður: Plug your electronic devices (e.g., computer, monitor, router) into the output sockets on the rear panel of the UPS. Ensure the total load does not exceed the UPS's capacity (1500VA / 900W).
  4. Upphafsgjald: For optimal battery performance, allow the UPS to charge for at least 8 hours before initial use, even if the battery indicator shows full. This ensures the internal batteries reach their full capacity.

4. Notkunarleiðbeiningar

4.1 Kveikja/slökkva á UPS-inu

  • Að kveikja á: Press and hold the power button on the front panel for a few seconds until the display illuminates and the UPS beeps.
  • Að slökkva á: Press and hold the power button again for a few seconds until the display turns off.

4.2 Að skilja stafræna skjáinn

The front digital display provides crucial information about the UPS status (refer to Figure 1):

  • INPUT VAC: Shows the current incoming utility voltage.
  • OUTPUT VAC: Sýnir binditage being supplied to your connected devices.
  • UPS Status: Indicates if the UPS is operating on utility power or battery power.
  • POWER: May indicate the load percentage or power consumption.
  • Rafhlöðustigsvísir: Shows the approximate charge level of the internal batteries.

4.3 Rekstrarstillingar

  • Online háttur: When utility power is present and stable, the UPS operates in online mode, providing conditioned power to your devices and charging its batteries.
  • Rafhlöðustilling: Ef um er að ræða vald outage eða verulegt magntage fluctuation, the UPS automatically switches to battery mode, supplying power from its internal batteries. The transfer time is typically 4-6 ms. The UPS will emit an audible alarm in this mode.
  • Rafhlaða hleðsla: The UPS will automatically charge its batteries when connected to utility power. It takes approximately 8 hours to recover 90% of the battery capacity.

5. Viðhald

5.1 Umhirða rafhlöðu

  • To maximize battery lifespan, ensure the UPS is always connected to a power source to keep the batteries charged.
  • Avoid frequent deep discharges. If the UPS operates on battery power, save your work and shut down your equipment properly as soon as possible.
  • The UPS uses two 12V/9AH sealed lead-acid batteries. Battery replacement should be performed by qualified personnel.

5.2 Þrif

  • Ensure the UPS is turned off and disconnected from the wall outlet before cleaning.
  • Notaðu mjúkan, þurran klút til að þrífa tækið að utan.
  • Ekki nota vökva- eða úðahreinsiefni.
  • Keep the ventilation grilles clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.

5.3 Geymsla

If storing the UPS for an extended period, ensure the batteries are fully charged. Recharge the batteries every three months to prevent permanent damage due to self-discharge.
