The Outsunny 12' x 8' Manual Retractable Awning provides adjustable shade and protection from UV rays and light rain for your patio, deck, or balcony. Constructed with a durable aluminum and steel frame and a 280g/m² PU-coated polyester fabric, this awning is designed for longevity and ease of use with its manual crank operation.

• Always retract the awning during strong winds, heavy rain, or snowfall to prevent damage to the awning and property.

4. Uppsetning og samsetning

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have at least two people for installation, especially when lifting the assembled awning.

Step 1: Assemble the Roller Tube

1. Connect the three NO.2 Roller Tube sections using the two NO.3 Roller Tube Connectors. Secure each connection with 4 NO.15 screws.

Step 2: Assemble the Torsion Bar

1. Connect the three NO.4 Torsion Bar sections using the two NO.5 Torsion Bar Connectors. Secure each connection with 2 NO.20 screws.
2. Attach the NO.17 Retractable Arms to the ends of the assembled Torsion Bar. Ensure the marked side of the arms is facing up.

Step 3: Assemble the Front Bar

1. Connect the three NO.6 Front Bar sections using the two NO.7 Front Bar Connectors. Secure each connection with 2 NO.15 screws.
2. Attach the NO.18 Front Bar Wrist Supports to the ends of the assembled Front Bar.

Step 4: Install Fabric and End Caps

1. Slide the NO.14 Awning Fabric into the channel of the assembled Roller Tube.
2. Insert the three NO.16 Retaining Wires into the round holes of the NO.14 Awning Fabric.
3. Attach the NO.21 and NO.22 Roller End Caps to the ends of the Roller Tube.
4. Slide the assembled Front Bar into the front edge of the NO.14 Awning Fabric.
5. Secure the NO.13 End Caps to the ends of the Front Bar using NO.19 screws.

Step 5: Mount the Awning to the Wall

1. Mark the desired installation height on the wall, ensuring it's between 8.2' and 11.5' from the ground. Use a level to draw a horizontal line.
2. Drill holes for the NO.10 Wall Brackets. Use a 0.55" masonry bit and drill approximately 3.15" deep. Insert the NO.12 Expansion Bolts.
3. Secure the three NO.10 Wall Brackets to the wall using the NO.12 Expansion Bolts. Ensure they are level and properly spaced.
4. Carefully lift the assembled awning and hook the Torsion Bar onto the Wall Brackets.
5. Insert the NO.11 Bolts through the Wall Brackets and the Torsion Bar, securing them with nuts and washers.

The Outsunny Retractable Awning features a manual crank handle for easy extension and retraction.

1. To Extend the Awning: Insert the hook of the NO.9 Manual Crank Handle into the loop on the awning's gear mechanism. Turn the crank handle clockwise to extend the awning to your desired projection. The projection distance can be up to 8.2 feet.
2. To Retract the Awning: Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to retract the awning fully or partially.
3. Adjusting Canopy Angle: The height of the extension arm on the telescopic rod can be adjusted by loosening the locking screw, allowing you to set the canopy angle between 45-85 degrees for optimal shade throughout the day.
