4. Uppsetning
Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer before operation.
- Festu handfangið: Secure the handle to the main unit if it is not pre-assembled. Ensure it clicks into place or is fastened with provided screws.
- Tengdu háþrýstislönguna: Attach one end of the high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer unit and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Tengdu vatnsveitu: Attach the water inlet connector to the pressure washer's water inlet. Connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the water inlet connector and to a cold water tap. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has a minimum diameter of 1/2 inch.
- Tengdu rafmagn: Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is suitable for outdoor use and protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) if required by local regulations.
- Prime dæluna: Before turning on the power, turn on the water supply fully. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges from the nozzle. This primes the pump and prevents damage.

Once the pressure washer is set up and primed, you can begin operation.

- Engage Spray Gun: Point the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, ensuring it is a safe distance away. Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying. The motor will run continuously while the trigger is pressed.

The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent when operating at low pressure (usually achieved by a specific nozzle setting or by attaching the detergent bottle).
- Hreinsunartækni: Start spraying from a distance of approximately 30 cm (12 inches) and gradually move closer, observing the cleaning effect. Avoid spraying directly into electrical components or delicate surfaces.
- Loka: When finished, release the spray gun trigger. Turn the rotary ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system. Disconnect the power cord.
